SymmetryVPN is operated by Symmetry Technology. This policy describes what information the app collects, how it is used, and what is transmitted to our servers. For the technical detail behind these claims, see How it works.

What we collect

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Your account ID, so you do not need to re-enter it each session
• Your in-app preferences (notification and auto-reconnect settings)

No personal information such as your name, email address, or payment details is stored by the app.

What is sent to our servers

When you connect, the app sends:

• Your account ID, to authenticate your subscription
• Your device's IP address, which is visible to any server you connect to
• Your VPN traffic, which is tunneled through our servers

As with any VPN service, your traffic passes through our infrastructure. We do not log, inspect, or store the content of your traffic. Connection timestamps and your originating IP address are held in server memory only for the duration of the session and are not written to persistent storage.

We store your account ID, subscription status, payment-provider customer reference, and any referral code, successful referral, and earned-day balance needed to operate your account and the referral programme. Shared referral links contain a random referral code, never your account ID.

Third parties

The app contains no analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind. No data is sold or shared with third parties.

Data retention

Account and referral records are retained while needed to provide subscriptions, prevent duplicate referral rewards, and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Children

SymmetryVPN is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised.
